Snow Emergency – Starting January 12th at 2:00pm

Posted on Jan 12, 2024 by

Due to the incoming snowstorm, Mayor Penterman has issued a Class III Snow Emergency for the City of Kaukauna, effective Friday, January 12th at 2:00pm through Saturday, January 13th at 2:00pm. During the snow emergency, parking is prohibited on all city streets. Vehicles in violation will be ticketed and could be towed at the owner’s expense.

A couple items of note:

  • Avoid non-essential travel to allow our Department of Public Works crews to facilitate snow plowing and clean-up operations effectively and safely. Crews will be plowing around the clock to ensure safe roads for emergency services, focusing on main roads.
  • Check in on your neighbors who may be elderly, disabled, or simply don’t have the resources to handle a snowstorm.
  • Please be aware of crews while they are cleaning up streets. Keep your distance; if you can’t see the driver, they cannot see you.

Thank you for your assistance in helping us clean up from this winter storm. Stay safe, Kaukauna!
