NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Public Hearing will be conducted by the Common Council of the City of Kaukauna on Tuesday, August 20, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. at the Kaukauna Municipal Services Building, 144 W. Second Street, Kaukauna, Wisconsin to consider a rezoning request for a portion of property located at 2401 E. Hyland Avenue, Kaukauna. The purpose of the Public Hearing is to accept public comments on the proposed amendment.

Petitioner Scott Jerome requests that the property described below be rezoned to change the designation of parcels of land located approximately at 2401 E. Hyland Avenue, Kaukauna from Industrial Park District to Industrial District.

The area of land proposed to be rezoned is described more fully as:

COMMENCING AT THE NE CORNER OF SECTION 13, T21N, R18E, SOUTH 49.74 FEET TO THE NORTHERLY RIGHT OF WAY OF CTH “OO”, SOUTHWESTERLY ALONG SAID RIGHT OF WAY 1000 FEET, N50°W 300 FEET, N42°E 981.50 FEET, N87°E 300 FEET, SOUTH 200.26 FEET TO BEGINNING, GOVERNMENT LOT 1, SECTION 13 & GOVERNMENT LOT 1, SECTION 12 AND PC 3.

Persons wishing to submit comments with regard to the rezoning request are encouraged to attend. Persons unable to attend the public hearing but who wish to comment may do so by contacting the City of Kaukauna Planning Department by mail at PO Box 890, Kaukauna, WI 54130, by phone at 920-766-6315 or via e-mail at [email protected] prior to the meeting. Information related to the proposed rezoning is available for public inspection in the City of Kaukauna Planning Department during regular business hours.
