**  PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT ** – Portable Warning Siren Deployed

Today at approximately 11:00 a.m., I was advised by Outagamie County Emergency Management that one of our emergency sirens was out of commission. This siren is located at the Red Hills Landfill near Haas Road and CTH “ZZ” in Kaukauna. With the possible threat of severe weather later this afternoon, the homecoming activities, and the importance of notifying our community of the public safety concern of potential storms, I requested that the portable warning siren be deployed. The temporary siren is located in the Sportsmen’s Club (rifle range) parking lot. This was done in conjunction with my office, Outagamie County and the City of Kaukauna’s Emergency Management Divisions.  Stay safe!
