Road Construction Updates – Week of May 6-10
4-24 Alley Storm Sewer Project
Second/Third Street Alley Area:
The week of May 6, the contractor will be doing some work at the Aquatic Center. They will be working on the Second Street alley later in the week. The contractor will start at Main Avenue and relay sewer to Reaume Avenue. They will also install storm laterals where they are needed.
AT&T will be doing line work in the alley between Crooks Avenue and Main Avenue, mainly by Main Avenue the week of May 6. This work will take about two weeks to complete.
5-14 Kenneth Avenue Utility Relay Project
Kenneth Avenue/Third Street Area:
The contractor will continue to relay sanitary laterals in the street right of way from 311 W. Third Street to Bicentennial Court. Monday, May 6 the contractor will be saw cutting from Bicentennial Court to Brill Street. While this is work is taking place, Third Street/Kenneth Avenue between Reaume Avenue and Park Street will be closed, please use the detour shown on the attached map.
The contractor should be finished with the sanitary lateral relay on Wednesday May 8th. They swill be starting the sanitary sewer relay and water main construction between Bicentennial Court and Brill Street Thursday, May 9. Once they start this section of work, this area of Kenneth Avenue/Third Street will be closed, please use the detour shown on the below map.
Arthur Street Area:
No work happening at this time.
