Focus on the Fox

World Rivers Day is celebrated every September and highlights the many values of our rivers, strives to increase public awareness, and encourages the improved stewardship of all rivers around the world. With the Fox River such a vital part of our environment and community, 1000 Islands is going to join in on that celebration.

With several community partners, we will celebrate and explore the Fox River with different activities for all ages, interests and abilities.

Highlights of the day will include a photo scavenger hunt, river cleanup, learn to fish activities, paper making, and more!
