Kaukauna Farmers Market moves to midweek to harmonize with Live! from Hydro Park Concert Series
KAUKAUNA, Wis. – The City of Kaukauna is moving its Farmers Market from Saturdays to Wednesdays to coincide with their Live! from Hydro Park Concert Series.
The Farmers Market will be held from 4:30 pm to 8:00 pm, June 5 through August 28, and from 4:30 pm to 7:00 pm, Sept. 4 through Sept. 25. The event ends earlier in September to account for the shorter daylight hours. Meanwhile, Live! from Hydro Park is held from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm, June 5 through August 7.
The decision to move the day and time of the Farmers Market was due in part to scheduling conflicts for vendors and attendees alike.
“A lot of our area neighborhoods hold their Farmers Markets on Saturday mornings, so rather than try to compete, we decided to move our Farmers Market to Wednesdays,” Terri Vosters, community enrichment & recreation director for the City of Kaukauna, said. “It makes sense because it gives our vendors an opportunity to participate in multiple markets, while also bringing in business from our live concert series right next door.”
Attendees of the 2024 Farmers Market will have an opportunity to enjoy a variety of goods including fresh flowers and produce, micro greens and sprouts, canned goods, artisan crafts, food trucks and more. Vendor applications are open until March 15.
The Kaukauna Farmers Market is held at 101 Crooks Ave in a public parking lot along the canal, behind the Second St. businesses. The Live! from Hydro Park Concert Series is held in Hydro Park, directly across from the Farmers Market, crossing HWY 55/Crooks Ave.
