Project 1-23 Concrete Street Paving Project – Week of July 17th

Quinney Avenue, Metoxen Avenue, Dixon Street and Seventh Street Areas:
CONSTRUCTION – The storm sewer contractor is finishing up work on the storm sewer relaying along Seventh Street. The contractor has started storm sewer work on Metoxen Avenue and will continue the week of July 17th. Then work on storm sewer lateral installation after the storm sewer mains have been installed.
If you have a driveway along Seventh Street or Metoxen, please find alternate while the sewer crew is working in front of your lot . They should have all driveways open to residents at the end of the workday.
The paving contractor plans to start pavement removal and excavation work the week of July 24th. When the paving contractor sends an updated schedule, an update will be sent.
Loderbauer Road, White Dove Lane and White Birch Lane Areas:
CONSTRUCTION -The Paving contractor is planning to start removing existing pavement and excavating the existing stone base on Loderbauer Road the week of July 17th. The contractor will then place base stone and grade the stone. This section of Loderbauer will be closed to traffic during this work. The contractor is looking to pave the second lane of White Dove and White Birch sometime early the week of July 17th after the first paved lane is opened. While the contractor is paving White Birch and White Dove, you will not be able to drive on these streets. You will not be able to drive on the new concrete for 7 days while it is curing and strengthening.
– Once the second paved lane has cured and strengthen (after about 7 days), the concrete contractor will start working on construction the sidewalks and driveway aprons.
Greyhound Street, Boxer Street and Setter Drive Areas:
CONSTRUCTION – The first lane of concrete pavement is open to traffic and the contractor placed gravel in the driveways to the concrete pavement. The second lane of concrete pavement should be paved early the week of July 17th. You will not be able to drive on the new concrete for 7 days while it is curing and strengthening.
– Once the second paved lane has cured and strengthen (after about 7 days), the concrete contractor will start working on construction the sidewalks and driveway aprons.
Oak Street and Schultheis Street Areas:
CONSTRUCTION -The storm sewer contractor is planning to start storm sewer work the week of July 24th. The paving contractor plans to start pavement removal and excavation work the week of August 14th. When the paving contractor sends an updated schedule, an update will be sent.
Canal Street Area:
CONSTRUCTION – The storm sewer contractor is planning to start storm sewer work the week of July 31st. The paving contractor plans to start pavement removal and excavation work the week of August 21st. When the paving contractor sends an updated schedule, an update will be sent.
