Spring Election Update
Posted on Apr 3, 2020 by admin_post
Governor Evers has called for a special session tomorrow at 4pm to discuss changing next week’s election to an all-mail election. IF Election Day moves on as planned, please know we are working to implement safety measures to keep voters and poll workers as safe as possible. Again, IF things go on as planned, voting will take place next week Tuesday, April 7th from 7:00am – 8:00pm. Aldermanic Districts 1 & 2/Wards 1-5, 12 & 14 – vote at the Municipal Services Building. Aldermanic Districts 3 & 4/Wards 6-11, 13 & 15 vote at the SPAR Building. See maps below for clarification.
We are taking the COVID-19 virus very seriously. Please stay tuned for updates to next week’s election in regards to legislative changes as well as further precautionary measures. We are asking voters, if able, to bring their own black ball point pen from home. This is one way to help prevent the spread of this virus. Note, if you do not have a black ball point pen of your own, or forget to bring it when voting, we will have pens available (and will do our best to keep them sanitized).
