Notice for Residents: Artillery Demonstration to take place at Grignon Mansion Saturday 8/17 and Sunday 8/18

The City of Kaukauna wishes to notify residents that an artillery (cannon) demonstration will take place this coming weekend, on Saturday August 17, 2019 and Sunday August 18, 2019 at the Grignon Mansion in the City of Kaukauna.

Residents may hear loud, reverberating sounds of artillery (cannon) fire at the hours of 12:00 PM, 2:00 PM and 3:00 PM on both days as a part of the Civil War Living History Demonstration taking place at the Grignon Mansion.

Please know that these sounds are a part of this living history demonstration and are not cause for alarm. Residents in the vicinity are advised to maintain close control of their pets during these timeframes and to prepare small children for the sudden bursts of sound on the hour.
