Modified Traffic Pattern Near RVMS

September 6th – November 4th 2016 – River View Middle School will be using a modified traffic pattern during the ongoing Island Street Bridge reconstruction. The Kaukauna Police Department, Engineering Department, and Kaukauna Area School District have worked together to develop this route in an attempt to control traffic flows and provide safe routes to the school during the bridge closure. Traffic will use Island Street and Maple Street as a traffic loop for all parent drop-offs. The re-routing will significantly slow traffic on Island and Dodge Streets during drop-off and pick-up times. A portion of Island Street between Elm and Maple Street will be the temporary bus loading zone. Kaukauna Police Department has offered to assist as much as possible with officers directing traffic in the area.
