Part Time Vendor Welcome Message
Part Time Vendor:
Hello, you are receiving this letter because you are a current Artisan/Crafter vendor or you’ve expressed interest in being an Artisan/Crafter vendor
I like to keep the ratio of farmer/crafter the same every week during the season. That gets tricky with the different growing seasons. We’ve tried something the past few years and it has worked out very well. It’s called part-time vendor.
I ‘m asking that you pick the Saturdays you’d most like to come to the Market. When I get all of the applications back,(with no payment) I will go through them and let you know what days you’ll be able to attend. Availability will depend on a few things:
• Vendors that are selling the same type of product.
• Seniority
• Produce vendors that will be attending the market you’d like to attend.
I understand that you may not know your schedule so far in advance, but just a rough guess of when you can (and can’t) attend would be very helpful. You may receive a phone call from me to help work things out. Things are always changing so as we get closer to the beginning of the Market season I may be able to make changes. I also may be able to call you if someone cancels once the season gets going.
Because of this guideline I will not be able to offer you the option of paying for the whole year and coming every week.
There will be four Saturdays this season that I will be going over the limit of farmer/crafter ratio. So if you can make it, you’ll be able to plan on those dates too. I don’t have all the details yet, but there will be entertainment, and some kind of promotion and activities.
• June 18th “Let’s get Growing”
• July 23rd “Summer Luvin”
• August 20th “Harvest Social”
• September 10th “ Fall-Fest”
• October 8th “Not so Scary Halloween Party”
On the application, please circle the days you’d like to attend, and put an X on the days you cannot.
Thank you,Gidget Peerenboom
