Grignon Woods – Closing for Work Monday, December 19th, 2022
Please note, the Grignon Woods (yellow area noted on map) will close to the public starting Monday, December 19th for approximately 4-6 weeks. Work includes removing several trees (mostly dying ash trees), cutting buckthorn, rehabilitating/replacing sanitary sewer, and restoring the eroding banks of the stream corridor. The project is part of a DNR Grant to reduce sediment and nutrient discharge to the Fox River.
The parking lot and sledding hill will remain open for use for the majority of the project.
