Changes to Municipal Disposal Site

December 10, 2025
Beginning January 2, 2026, the Municipal Disposal Site will only accept residential yard waste, brush, and waste oil. Residents with an access card will be able to dispose of excess garbage and recycling two days out of the year – the first Tuesday of January (or second Tuesday if the first falls on New Year’s Day) and the first Tuesday of March between 7:15 am and 6:00 pm. For 2026, these dates are January 6 and March 3. NO Furniture, building materials, electronics, metal, or hazardous waste will be accepted during these two days (see the Disposal Site page for full list of items). Regular garbage and recycling collection will continue.
This decision was carefully considered for months; however, conditions have not improved with attempts to demonstrate proper use of the disposal site including on-site signage, multiple public announcements, corrective action like fines and revoking access, etc., causing ongoing safety issues. If you have questions about your disposal site card, please contact the Street Department at 920.766.6337.
Please see the Outagamie County Recycling & Solid Waste website for information on what can be brought there.
