The City of Kaukauna Community Enrichment & Recreation Department is committed to improving the quality of life for all of Kaukauna’s residents and visitors. This is accomplished by providing and promoting a variety of lifelong recreational opportunities and special events for people of all ages.

 

Seasonal Program Guides

The Kaukauna Recreation Department offers a variety of recreational opportunities for people of all ages. Check out our current program guide by clicking on the image below. Signing up for the programs can be done online, over the phone, or in person.

A Multi-faceted Team

Our Community Enrichment and Recreation Department encompasses more than our seasonal programs. Check out the other facilities and events that make up our department below!

 

Services

The Street, Parks and Recreation building offers the newly remodeled Community Room and 3rd Street Conference Room for rentals. The Community Room has a capacity of 200 people. Tables and chairs are available for renters’ use.  An attached kitchen, which can be rented for an additional $25.00 fee, includes a stove with double-oven, refrigerator and three basin wash sink. The Rental Fee is $100.00 for City Residents plus $200.00 returnable deposit and $200.00 for Non-Residents plus a $300.00 returnable deposit.  Kaukauna-based Not-for-Profit Organizations can rent the room for $50 with a $100 deposit.

The 3rd Street Conference Room is a meeting room with a capacity of 25 people.  It has attached restrooms, two presentation monitors and a sink and counter.

A rental agreement and payment is required to guarantee date. Check availability and book rentals here.

The open-air shelters at Riverside, Hydro, Horseshoe Valley and LaFollette Parks are available for rental the months of May through September. The fee varies based on location. A Rental Agreement and payment is required before rental is guaranteed.

Volleyball nets are also available during park rental at no cost. Please reserve a volleyball net from the Street, Parks and Recreation office.

Please Note:  1000 Islands Environmental Center also has an open-air shelter that can be reserved by contacting Center staff at 920.766.4733.

The City of Kaukauna has wheelchairs, walkers, canes, crutches, and commodes available for use on a temporary basis. Please contact the Community Enrichment & Recreation Department at 920.766.6335 if you are in need of any of these items on a loan basis.
