Construction Update – Project 2-25

Wolf River Asphalt will be on today and Friday this week to perform asphalt paving on all streets. Here are a few reminders for this work:

• Please do not park any vehicles on the street while they are attempting to pave.
• Try to stay off of the freshly placed asphalt for a few hours. Asphalt is placed at temperatures near 300°F and gains its strength through cooling and compaction. Even a short while after it has been placed and rolled, turning wheels on it could rip up or root the fresh pavement.
• Road will be paved one lane at a time.

Scott Lamers Construction has a few more days of work on this project, but should be wrapped up next week. After they are done, sidewalks will be patched, and grass areas will be restored.
