CONSTRUCTION – This schedule includes the end of this week and the week of May 26.

  • The contractor will be excavating and placing stone for sidewalk and driveway aprons along the south side of Bear Paw and the north side of White Dove. The contractor will move to the other side of the streets once the sidewalk grading on the first side is complete. The contractor will not be putting gravel driveway ramps along the south side of Bear Paw or the north side of White Dove because they will be starting the sidewalk work.
  • The contractor will be installing stone drive ramps for residents along the west side of Snow Goose Way.  Once the sidewalk and driveway aprons are complete on Bear Paw and White Dove, the contractor will start the sidewalk work on Snow Goose Way and Campfire Court.
  • Currently the sidewalk contractor is working on installing the sidewalk and driveway aprons along Ashgrove Place and the south side of State Street.
  • You can drive on both paved lanes of the newly paved streets. You will need to drive around the barricades at the ends of the streets.
  • You can currently park your vehicles on the street in front of your property.  When the contractor is working on the sidewalk work on your street, you will need to park somewhere else between the hours of 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM.
  • The contractor will be pouring the cul-de-sac at the end of Campfire Court on Thursday, May 22.  This is the area between the curbs that were poured last week.
  • The construction schedule may change due to weather or contracts other obligations.

NOTE:  The dirt pile left on the terrace from the grading work, will be used for filling behind the curb.  When this area is landscaped topsoil, grass seed, mulch and matting will be placed over the fill.

If you have had your sidewalk construction, or will be having your sidewalk constructed by contractors other then the City’s contractor, please reach out to Jeff Bodoh at [email protected] to let him know if you are going to have the sidewalk contractor construct the driveway apron or if you want the City’s contractor to construct your driveway apron.

If you have not done your sidewalk yet, but will have a contractor other than the City’s contractor constructs your sidewalk, please verify that in your email as well.  We want to avoid any confusion about which sidewalks and driveway aprons the City contractor needs to do.
