DESCRIPTION:Enjoy a serene hour of relaxing Yoga and Pilates\, with a warm cup of tea.  This Yoga-Pilates class will be taught in various Yoga styles which will help to increase flexibility\, strength\, mobility\, and peaceful wellbeing.  This class includes a short Pilates section to help strengthen the muscles needed for balance throughout the entire body.  The class finishes with an enjoyable relaxation.  The class is for all levels of ability.  Warm tea will be served at the beginning of class and participants can enjoy sips of tea or water during and after class. \nSuggested matrials to bring: A yoga mat or two (if you like added cushion)\, a blanket if you would like for the relaxation segment.  A limited number of yoga mats will be provided if you don’t have one. \nHeld in conference room ABC\, led by library staff Karla.

DESCRIPTION:Do you have an exotic pet that you are no longer able to care for? Don’t release it into the wild! Instead\, you can surrender it at J&R Aquatic Animal Rescue’s Exotic Pet Surrender Event\, hosted by 1000 Islands. The organization will be     accepting fish\, invertebrates\, reptiles\, pet birds\, small mammals\, and plants – no questions asked. Birds\, reptiles\, and mammals originating from outside WI must be accompanied by a Certificate of Veterinary Inspection. Domestic pets and farm animals including but not limited to dogs\, cats\, rats\, mice\, rabbits\, guinea pigs\, goats\, horses\, pigs\, and chickens are not accepted – please contact your local Humane Society for options. They also cannot accept Wisconsin native animals taken from the wild. There will be animal ambassadors you can meet and learn about\, and a photo booth where you can take your picture with a rescued pet! FREE (Donations Appreciated for J&R Aquatics)

SUMMARY:Grounded and Resilient: Moving Meditation in Nature with Becky McMorrow
DESCRIPTION:This program is a transformative experience that blends ancient practices and modern awareness to cultivate resilience\, calm and embodied presence. Participants will engage in gentle yet powerful movement and standing yoga poses. This program empowers each participant to reconnect with themselves and the living world. Classes will be held on the 2nd Wednesday at 6 pm and the 4th Sunday at 9 am. Classes are held indoors and/or outdoors\, depending on the weather. Pre-Registration is Appreciated. Get started at our character creation station! Want to join a new campaign? Form a group and set out on a quest! Want to meet other players? Grab a seat at the Book End Inn\, have a snack\, and regale us with tales of your adventures! All ages grades 2 and up are welcome to join us for a family-friendly evening of adventures! New players can learn how to get started\, meet other beginners\, and form a quest group. Established players can continue campaigns with their existing groups\, or meet new players and start new adventures. We will have everything you need to get started\, as well as some snacks and drinks to keep you going.
